West Cumbria Rivers Trust (WCRT) are guardians of our region’s liquid lifelines. Through countless hours of project delivery, monitoring and community engagement, they are instrumental in the ongoing effort to restore and protect our precious rivers.
With core objectives focusing on education, stakeholder engagement, reputation enhancement, and environmental protection, WCRT required a website that could effectively communicate their impact and foster engagement with a broad range of stakeholders.
WCRT needed a website that was not only easy to update and maintain but also capable of delivering serious, direct, and impactful messages in an engaging way to a broad audience range from the casual tourist to the informed environmentalist. The website had to balance authority with approachability, celebrate the region’s rivers and lakes, and appeal to a broad range of stakeholders.
Additionally, it needed to incorporate existing content, such as case studies and project information, in a more accessible format. A refreshed brand presentation was necessary to attract new audiences while retaining the trust of existing supporters.
