Cumbria Woodlands is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the care and management of Cumbria’s woodlands for over 30 years. They focus on woodland creation, management, training, and development while actively engaging in policy and advocacy. Cumbria Woodlands needed a cohesive brand followed by a family of websites and platforms to support their expanding digital presence. These included a master site, Canopy directories, and an LMS (Learning Management System).
The challenge was to create a brand that conveyed their long-standing commitment to woodland conservation while modernising their identity and supporting forward-thinking digital platforms. The goal was to develop a family of websites that would overtime integrate and provide a consistent user experience across the master site, Canopy directory, and LMS system. The new digital presence needed to be user-friendly, visually appealing, and functional across all devices.
