Based in Staveley, we sit on the doorstep of the English Lake District. That means big skies and dramatic landscapes to fuel our creativity, but only a 10-minute drive from the M6 for clients who prefer to chat over good coffee.
Sitting around our boardroom table on a Monday morning, hugging brews and lining up for the week ahead, we look like a fairly average bunch (except for Sue and her brightly coloured dreadlocks). We all know, though, that looks can be deceiving.
A quick scoot around the table sharing weekend adventures can make for some eyepopping tales: pole dancing, gigantic kite flying, and all manner of equestrian sports. We have gamers and dancers, cyclists and runners, not to mention the ludicrously demanding (and obviously rewarding) roles of parents, partners and committed gin drinkers.
Now, we know what we do in our spare time is irrelevant to most projects (pole dancing skills won’t build you a website). Yet, it’s precisely these individual passions and quirks that inject vitality and diverse perspectives into our creative processes.
