Whitby & Co needed a B2C brand that honoured their legacy while directly engaging consumers. It had to establish credibility, highlight their curated product range, and create a seamless link between brand representation and retail sales.
The brand had to radiate quality, energy, and personality, ensuring a consistent and engaging presence. A key challenge was unifying diverse product photography from multiple suppliers to create a cohesive visual identity.

“Berry Useful” was chosen to underline the hand-picked nature of the product range, evoking a sense of care and attention to detail.
A fun and engaging vibrant colour palette was created to reflect the energy and personality of the brand. The palette ensured a lively and inviting look that appealed to a broad customer base.
An informal serif typestyle was selected to convey personality and informality while combining maturity and quality, aligning with the brand’s ethos.
A cohesive image style was developed to ensure product photography from different brand suppliers could work together harmoniously. This approach maintained a consistent look and feel across the website and digital marketing campaigns.
A robust and user-friendly eCommerce platform was implemented, enabling customers to easily browse, select, and purchase products. The platform also facilitated seamless inventory management and order processing.
A comprehensive digital marketing strategy was established to promote Berry Useful across various online channels. This included social media marketing, email campaigns, and search engine optimisation (SEO) to drive traffic and increase sales.
